As our Fintech Compliance Specialist, you'll help shape how banking is delivered in the digital age by turning regulation into innovation.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role on a developing, fast-growing team that reports to our MRV Connect Compliance Officer. You'll gain valuable experience and exposure to compliance certification within the financial industry while helping scale a new line of business.
What You'll Do
- Ensure fintech and digital payment services comply with all federal and state regulations (BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, UDAAP, etc.)
- Partner with product, operations, and technology teams to embed compliance into new banking solutions
- Conduct risk assessments, monitoring, audits, and transaction reviews
- Maintain and update policies, procedures, and controls to reflect evolving regulations
- Provide training and guidance for teams and fintech partners on compliance requirements
- Support regulatory exams and audit preparation
- Stay ahead of industry changes and advise on compliance trends
- Champion compliance as a strategic enabler that drives innovation, not just a checkpoint
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in financial services, payments, or fintech compliance (preferred)
- Working knowledge of applicable banking and payments regulations (preferred)
- A mindset that's equal parts detail-driven and forward-thinking
