PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To identify and resolve areas of concern regarding technical file handling skills; provide relevant legislative, regulatory, precedential case law information and carrier requirements and training; and to serve as workers' compensation technical resource.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Serves as workers compensation technical resource.
- Assists with the development and/or revision of workers compensation service expectations.
- Research technical questions/issues involving workers compensation matters.
- Provides communication to colleagues relative to jurisdictional changes and carrier requirements.
- Coordinates state experts ensuring state sites are up to date and experts are current.
- Identifies jurisdictional issues and develops and implements action plans.
- Handles carrier and client technical issues as assigned.
- Supports and provides assistance for company initiatives.
- Assists with EDI issues as needed.
- Works with management in designing training modules and in scheduling training.
- Prepares training outline; delivers training to units; and monitors/reports training compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & LICENSING
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Professional designation or equivalency such as AIC, CPCU or ARM preferred.
Experience
Eight (8) years' experience in project management or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience managing national initiates strongly preferred. Training experience preferred.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($80,000 - $100,000). A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
