Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join wowsuch.com—a rapidly scaling technology company dedicated to transparency, innovation, and ethical business practices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing our compliance framework across domestic and international operations, as well as leading our efforts to acquire and maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and compliance programs
• Lead and coordinate all steps required for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification acquisition and renewals, partnering with internal teams and external auditors
• Coordinate compliance audits and risk assessments
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure prompt resolution of issues
• Advise management on emerging compliance topics (GDPR, AML, KYC, etc.)
• Lead training initiatives to promote a culture of compliance company-wide
• Investigate and resolve potential compliance breaches
• Support new product launches and business expansion with regulatory analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred (e.g., CCEP, CRCM)
• 4+ years of relevant compliance experience, ideally in the technology or SaaS sector
• Demonstrated experience successfully managing ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification projects, including documentation, stakeholder coordination, and audit readiness
• Expertise in international compliance (data privacy, AML, KYC, anti-corruption)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
• Proven ability to navigate fast-paced, dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with compliance software and reporting tools is highly desirable
