JOB SUMMARY
The position will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and auditing of program quality with a strong attention to detail. Will assist with developing and coordinating the details of project work plans, status reporting and support for compliance, quality, and accreditation related projects across this busy agency. Collect, analyze, and report on data relative to the agency's performance & quality assurance initiatives. Must have an understanding of HIPAA regulations to support the privacy of client information and the Medical Records Department. The position will require an understanding of non-profit human services operations, policies, and practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support quality and regulatory audits for all agency programs.
- Provide assistance and support to the Medical Records Department.
- Assist in the implementation of the compliance and quality program at the agency including collection, analysis and reporting of relevant data.
- Provide staff support to key agency committees.
- Assist in managing the accreditation process.
- Maintain or promote positive collaborative relationships with management and staff.
- Assist in providing staff training regarding compliance areas.
Experience and Skills
EDUCATION
- Associate's Degree in human services or related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Three to five years' experience in human services policies and procedures monitoring and/or compliance areas preferred.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus following up.
- Strong computer skills including PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software.
- Ability to set priorities, handle multiple projects and perform with a deadline.
- An emphasis on attention to detail.
- Knowledge of and experience with multi-service agency operations.
